PostScript (2018)

Medium: video game
Contributions: writing, narrative direction, concept art

PostScript was a critical-making project that I worked on for a video game studies course in Autumn of 2018. It aimed to depict and explore the experience of social anxiety through the platformer genre and other genres in minigames (eg. danmaku, rhythm game).

Got Me Looking (2019)

Medium: video art on VDMX software
Contribution: artist

This autobiographical piece depicts the anxious experience of freezing and losing one’s sense of self when being watched. The work obscures itself as more people approach and view it. It plays on the idea of the many “debuts” that a person makes as they enter new social spaces, both real and virtual—whether that be coming out online with an ambiguously gay tweet, introducing oneself to coworkers in a new workplace, or presenting an art piece in an exhibition.
